The ancient Japanese Kintsugi technique is traditionally used to repair ceramic objects, in which fractures and cracks are highlighted with visible golden seams.
In the creation of this particular line I was inspired by this very old method.
At the symbolic level I feel that Kintsugi may be associated with the human capacity to amend one’s ‘faults’, even in a creative and artistic way.
Every jewel is unique and unrepeatable.
